Desert Eye and Laser is the result of the work of Dr. Hal Le’s accomplishments aimed at making top quality eye health care available to patients in Palm Desert and the greater Coachella Valley.

Education

Doctor Le earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, then continued his education in medical school at University of Maryland in Baltimore, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. After a transitional internship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Dr. Le successfully completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After his residency, Dr. Le continued his specialist training in cornea and refractive surgery at New Your Presbyterian Hospital in Cornell, New York.

Professional Associations

Dr. Le is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, which is the world’s largest association of eye physicians and surgeons. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, which means that he has demonstrated a commitment to practicing an elevated set of standards in the field of ophthalmology by participating in ongoing education and evaluation.

Experience

Since 2002, Dr. Le has practiced Ophthalmology and corneal and refractive surgery in the Coachella Valley. In addition to his practice at Desert Eye and Laser, he is a staff member at Eisenhower Medical Center, and is affiliated with El Mirador Surgery Center in Palm Springs, California.
